This Message will Go on Forever

In collaboration with Adobe Books Backroom Gallery, Johnson led a field-trip to KPH, the last remaining commercial Morse code station in North America on January 11, 2014. While there, participants learned about the history and death of commercial Morse Code and why, despite a lack of listeners, a group of dedicated operators are still sending messages from the sea-side station. In addition to eating lunch at the official operator's table and collecting some amazing ephemera, participants sent their own Morse message out into the ether.
